Each manufacturer ships items from their own warehouse and charges shipping accordingly. This means that if you order equipment from four different brands, you will pay four separate shipping charges and receive four separate packages. You will pay negotiated real-time rates for ground shipping (the slowest but cheapest method) from USPS, UPS, or Fed Ex. You may or may not receive tracking information from your order, but if you have questions about the status of your order at any time, please first check your Order Status (found in your order confirmation e-mail), and then e-mail us at email@example.com.
Please note that Peregrine Equipment, Outdoor Designs, Olicamp, and Adventure Medical kits all ship from the same warehouse and therefore consolidate your shipping costs. The same applies to CAMP, Countour, Cassin, and Red Chili. This also applies to Lowe Alpine and Rab.
Free Shipping Information:
Lowe Alpine and Rab have offered groups free shipping on combined orders of 10 items or more. Good To-Go meals offers free shipping on orders over $75. Toad&Co offers free shipping on orders over $100.
Returns and Warranties:
Each of the brands on College Outside will work to help you return the item within 30 days of purchase, and we will help put you in touch with our customer service representative at each company. Each brand will also honor its own manufacturer’s warranty and policies which may or may not include a restocking fee. E-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to return or warranty an item. For a return, if the item is brand new and in original packaging, you will receive a full refund minus the cost of shipping and possible restocking fee.
The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the original item (see above) and then place an order for the item that you want. By doing this, we’ll make sure that the item you want remains in stock and is delivered quickly. Once the original item has been returned and inspected, you will receive a refund minus the cost of shipping.
If an item is damaged or does not operate upon delivery, the manufacturer will comply with its warranty. If an item is damaged or does not operate, please send an email to email@example.com and we will work to replace your item ASAP.
