HEAR WHAT THE INTERNS HAVE TO SAY

Abby Lawes, College Outreach Coordinator

“Not many internships come with coworkers who love craft beer and skiing more than you do. Not only has my time at College Outside been a blast and taught me a variety of skills, but it also has shaped my career aspirations. I have done work that directly affects the performance of the company, and that’s something that is pretty hard to find as a college student. I would work with College Outside until the day I am forced to retire if I could, but if I choose a different career path, I now know how fast paced, rewarding, and exciting a job can and should be.”

Becky Eder, Membership

“I’ve always loved being outside, and interning at College Outside has shown me a whole new way to participate in the outdoor community. College Outside has given me so many opportunities to get to know really rad college students and clubs across the country, and hear about all the awesome things they’re doing outside everyday. Sarah and everyone at College Outside are so supportive of my goals and interests, and have really taken the time to show me the ropes in the outdoor retail industry. I can’t believe I found my dream job so fast! “
