College Outside provides a one-stop shop for institutional gear discounts, as well as pro-deals for students, staff, & leaders.
Who is eligible?
Any outdoor education group who provides equipment to their participants for the sake of introducing them to the outdoors. Your group must have a strong focus on wilderness and leadership training. Our goal is to streamline the gear ordering process for group buyers so that they can focus on what is important: getting people outside!
Attention College and University Programs!
We can provide individual pro-deals to your student staff and leaders as a benefit of leading your program. Fill out the roster in the application with current leader information, and we will create accounts for their individual use only.
Our team will review your application closely, and may request a follow-up phone call. Once we approve your group, you will be given a Group Account on College Outside, and your student leaders will be sent login information to their individual accounts. Simply login on www.CollegeOutside.com to shop for gear from our 60+ partner brands.
Renewals are due annually during the month of September (due by September 30th). At that point, you will need to submit a new roster and confirm your Group’s status.

Just purchased a USA Climbing membership? Don’t worry about filling out the application! USA Climbing will send your info to us soon. Need those prodeals ASAP? Just forward your membership confirmation email to Becky@collegeoutside.com and we’ll send you login credentials within 3 business days.”
